Health & Safety

 

We are members of Site Safe, the national organisation dedicated to promoting a culture of health & safety in the construction industry. We have an established partnership with the ACC Workplace Safety Management Practices programme.

On every project, we utilize our health & safety management system, and have a health & safety representative that specifically deals with managing health & safety risks. Before any site work begins, hazard identification, training requirements, traffic management and site specific emergency planning are all completed.  On site, sub-contractors are required to sign off a safety plan and attend ‘Tool Box’ meetings to ensure all trades are aware of scheduled activity or changes onsite, while visitors and clients are hosted onsite and safety requirements are reinforced through site entrance hazard boards.
